This years Circle of Sisters event was very successful. My team and I interacted with consumers on a different level than we had done in previous years. This year we stepped outside of the norm and gave hands on demos of hairstyling and facials. The idea was to have consumers touch feel and experience products by using them in the capacity that they were created for.
What surprised me most of all was the fact that; even men wanted to get their hair and facials done and people were on line for over 45 minutes. I enjoyed the look on their faces when they saw the end results. A lot of sales came in through product demos……… had I known this I would’ve started demos a little earlier …LOL!!! I felt honored that consumers would trust us enough to have us do demos on them in such a public place. Next time I promise to have a bigger lounge area for them to be more comfortable as they wait to be served.
